Pathologists, pathology residents, laboratory professionals, and students who submit proposal abstracts may also apply for a travel grant to offset conference attendance costs. The ASCP 2018 Annual Meeting will take place in Baltimore from October 3–5.

According to Worz, the senior pharmacy care industry is poised for massive growth. He will leverage his two decades of experience as a member of the organization to help the ASCP effectively navigate the emerging industry while providing high-level support to its member pharmacists.

In addition to his career, Travis Leonardi frequently gives back to his community, including through contributions to Westminster Academy, a Christian preparatory school. Westminster Academy serves students of a wide range of ages, from preschool through pre-college. The school has been in operation for 44 years and has provided thousands of students with a Christ-centered education. The school also hosts multiple events throughout the year, such as its homecoming events, as well as programs in the arts. In January 2015, the school's piano students participated in a “musicthon” held at the Galleria Mall. Joined by over 300 other local piano students from a number of studios, the musicians played a benefit concert to collect money for the organization 4KIDS of South Florida, as well as for the Broward County Music Teachers Association scholarship fund. The students raised nearly $500.
