ASCP 2018 Annual Meeting Offers Professional Development and Education
Travis Leonardi serves as the CEO of Sentry Data Systems, a leading solutions provider for utilization management, automated pharmacy procurement, and 340B compliance. In addition to his work at the Florida-based company, Travis Leonardi belongs to the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). The society will hold its 2018 annual meeting in Maryland in October.
The ASCP Annual Meeting presents clinical pathologists and professionals with the opportunity to acquire valuable lab skills and expand their knowledges. Learning sessions provide maintenance of certification (MOC) and certification maintenance program (CMP) credits, allowing attendees to fulfill requirements necessary for certification. Over the course of the three-day event, respected leaders and field authorities will deliver presentations and share critical insights. Additionally, the conference offers an assortment of networking activities to help attendees connect with colleagues and form valuable professional relationships.
Registration fees vary according to pass type and date of registration, and prices will increase as the event draws closer. Pathologists, pathology residents, laboratory professionals, and students who submit proposal abstracts may also apply for a travel grant to offset conference attendance costs. The ASCP 2018 Annual Meeting will take place in Baltimore from October 3–5.
